Well, we had a really long day thrifting today. It is a nice way to spend a Sunday. We dropped off a bunch of stuff for donations before we went into the first one. Then just as much, if not more, came home with us.

The good news is that the teen got a lot of spring clothes.

I also found a pair of grey trousers, a striped cardigan, and a men’s vintage blazer that fits perfectly.

Merle got a cat plate for her cat wall, and Tom got a creepy monkey holding cymbals that looks like the Monkey Shines movie cover monkey.

It’s probably haunted.

I made my first reel on Instagram today that involved these finds.

I swore I would never do it, but I took some short videos while thrifting and decided to make a reel out of them to try it out. You will never see me singing or dancing in one though, nor anything preformative.

That will never, ever happen.

Of this, I solemnly swear.

There is a reason that I dropped classes that had mandatory oral presentations.

Anything that involves me as the center of attention and speaking to a crowd is my own personal hell.

My vintage Escada blazer should arrive in the mail tomorrow, fingers crossed. I can’t wait to see it. I bought a vintage articulated leopard brooch that will look perfect on it.

I can’t wait to be able to style it.

One of my favourite Instagram accounts is Sookie and Ivy. They are two dogs that wear crocheted hats of a specific food that they try, to see if they like it.

It’s so bloody cute.

It’s probably a bad idea to be drinking coffee at 10 pm right?

I have a headache that won’t seem to go, and I often find that if I drink a coffee, that seems to give that extra boost that I need for it to go away.

So I will probably have a very late night tonight, but at least I won’t have a headache. Hopefully at least.

Stay safe.
