I caved and ordered us Harvey’s tonight, so I figured I would type some of this out while I am waiting for it’s arrival. I am so hungry that I am shaking. I go from full to famished and almost fainting in the blink of an eye. There is no in between.

I often carry snacks in my bags.

It’s been a very fast food kind of weekend so I tried to be a little bit better by ordering myself a plant based burger this time. Although all the good intentions were cancelled out when I chose the chicken bacon ranch poutine as my side.

I think I will meal plan for the week tonight so I can plan out the groceries for tomorrow. That will help to avoid the fast food go-to throughout this week.

I just wish that I didn’t hate meal planning so much.

And I just wish that it didn’t seem like my kids hate me by how hard they make it to actually meal plan things everyone will eat.

Now that my first week back at school is down, I’ll review it a bit. I am enjoying it immensely. Lots of knowledge and things to think about the first week. I forgot how much I really like have a list of things I need to accomplish, and how satisfying it is to check them off.

It’s just not the same writing your own lists…

A complaint I have is that some of the thoughts on things seem dated, and I know it’s a fashion course so there are certain “rules” and stuff to be expected. Maybe because the text is a bit older, I don’t know. It mentions frequently about dressing your age and dressing for the kinds of assumptions you would like people to have about you.

Es tu, Brute?

I thought that it would be a little more forward thinking, or maybe the fact that I am older than the students and the teacher might make me take notice and be sensitive to it.

I don’t care about either of those things and as a result my homework assignment may or may not be appreciated since my answers to some questions reflect that.

Oh well. C’est la vie.

Stay safe.
