I honestly didn’t do much this week because it has just been way too hot. Both my girls don’t do well in the heat at all, and when I brought my oldest to the clinic to get her second vaccination on Monday it was extremely hot.
On the way home, both of them were borderline fainting on the sidewalk. I thought Merle was going to have a heart attack because she was purple and making really horrendous sounds.
Needless to say, that is why I have not gone anywhere that involves walking this week. The drama that was involved in a simple outing is so not worth it.
I have also been going to bed ridiculously late this week because Tom has been having to get up to go to work at 2:30 am, but then he doesn’t get home until 10 or 11 pm.
I have been staying up so that he can crawl into bed and sleep quietly for the few hours he gets without having me bustling about disturbing him. So I just stay up, wake him up at 2:30 then get ready to go to bed which then end up reading for a while.
We both need to get a more regular time going on before the new year.
I am going to buy a few more Christmas presents tonight, because my youngest announced that I only have 134 days. That just blows my mind and also sends me into panic mode doubly so.
I also cringe thinking how far in the storage locker the Christmas decorations are. I have no idea how I am going to get those out. I should probably start digging soon otherwise it will suck if I have to do it last minute.
