I logged on to Instagram this morning and it was being weird. The feed kept refreshing and then going to a white screen so I closed the app and reopened it.
Immediately upon reopening, a message popped up on the screen saying that I had a copyright infringement on a specific photo (it is the bottom photo in last weeks’ what I wore post).
The infringement was against the Anine Bing Official account…I was wearing an Anine Bing Sweatshirt in the photo.
They removed the picture from my feed.
I could have appealed it but I got flustered and existed the message before I could select that option. Now there is no way to see the message again.
At first, I thought maybe it was a super-sensitive filter that Anine Bing uses to check for copyright because I know that they encourage posting and sharing of their products (like all businesses do), so it wouldn’t be intentional.
They also go around and comment on these photos.
They have commented on mine several times.
So I searched on Google and it seems that someone else probably reported it. I’m not sure why. Maybe someone that decided they don’t like me or I pissed them off, or maybe just because they want to fuck with me.
Who knows, but whatever reason they did it, it is obnoxious and definitely not a very productive way to use their time.
You get back what you put out into this world. It must really suck having all that negativity bouncing back.
Have a great week!
