I know that all I have been talking about is condo rental hunting, but honestly, that is what my life is revolving around at the moment.

The Blue One from Friday’s post has been rented, so we spent Valentine’s Day looking at a bunch more.

We have a favourite and two others as fallbacks, but we are dealing with an asshole realtor (not ours) who isn’t being cooperative with our own realtor to his client’s detriment.

I’m hoping that we can get shit figured out.

It would be nice to have everything fall into place asap because we actually pay our rent on the 20th of every month versus the 1st and I would like to give our 60 days notice by then.

So, if we don’t hear back by the 20th we will have to pay for an extra month here which will suck.

I’m also getting antsy to pack.

Would I be counting my chickens before they hatched if we picked up some boxes and started getting our crap sorted and packed?

I think it will help us get organized and purge stuff. Plus, I find it cathartic.

One of the places we looked at had bidet installed in both bathrooms, I think that is an understated selling feature 😉

On a side note, My Winter Capsule Wardrobe Essentials post outfits are now complete. I just updated it with the last few tonight.

It’s 28 outfits without any repeats. It was fun to do.

Also, this cardigan that I bought a few weeks back (which sold out fast) is in stock at Asos UK. It’s selling out there fast as well. They were down to medium and larges when I last checked.

  1. ugh, that sucks about the realtor holding everything up. for every move i’ve done, i always started packing bits here and there, weeding stuff out along the way. i found that was almost a distraction so that i wouldn’t start buying stuff for a new place that i haven’t even secured yet.

i love the finished winter capsule! it just goes to show that the basics really can see you through all seasons, and with a little creativity you can do so much.

    • Yeah. I think I’m going to look around on kijiji to see if anyone is getting rid of boxes since no place is open where I can by them 🙄

It would be nice to least start on the girls’ room because it’s so messy, we could pack and then stack them in the living area to help clear out room and clean and purge while doing it. We’ve got two more condos to check out tomorrow. It’s so weird because we will literally go to look at one that’s been on the market for over 100 days with no interest in it and the moment we show interest it gets rented. I should have looked at Christmas when no one was moving, it would have been easier 😂
