SHOP THE POST
I am a regular user of the Skip the Dishes food delivery app. We use it way more than we probably should, and I should probably have the app deleted but it is so convenient.
Tonight was the first night that I have had issues with it.
I usually pay via Interac Online because I try to avoid using credit cards in general.
But tonight when I submitted my order it went to an error page. I checked both my bank account and the website to see if the order processed.
The money was deducted from my account, but the order didn’t go through, so I jumped on chat.
She told me that it was probably a glitch and to try again, which I did only to have the same thing repeated.
So now my bank account has two charges and we have no food.
I’m a big believer that if you have an issue to take it to the Twitter business page because they will usually answer you quickly, and you will see some kind of resolution.
They responded quickly.
We have determined that although I was charged and the orders didn’t process the funds are currently sitting in the void.
They should return back to my bank account once they realize they have no place to go in a few days.
But if they don’t, they left me with an email to contact if the funds are not back within 5 days.
I like a business with good communication and a willingness to help.
I’m probably going to meal plan this week to keep me off the app though π
I spent most of the weekend trying to figure out our homeschool plans.
There are a few areas that I am totally stumped with like I need to find a good secular chemistry course.
I know that in the grand scheme of things, secular or Christian shouldn’t really affect a chemistry curriculum per se but I still can’t get on board with it.
That is my goal this week. That and finding a Forensic Science or Forensic Anthropology course…or maybe a combination of both if they are shorter.
I know that Roo would really love a class that digs into the mind of criminals, but I think that might be more like a college or university course.
I’m still going to dig around to see what I can find.
Stay Safe.
