SHOP THE POST

I hate having to stop and figure out what the actual day of the week is now. It took me a bit to realize it was Sunday.

I spent most of the weekend in line ups.

First, it was an online queue for the Toronto Zoo Scenic Safari tour. I started at almost 7000 in the queue, made it all the way through to pay, and just when I hit submit it glitched and put me back into the queue.

I gave up at that point and went to bed. I hope that they will release more tickets for June dates.

Saturday I had the bright idea of bringing all of my online returns to the post office. I had to stand in an outside line (and then inside line) for 2 hours.

It was totally my fault for going there late afternoon on a Saturday but it is supposed to rain buckets all week and I didn’t want to risk having to stand in line in that weather.

Today was the grocery store lineup because I didn’t meal plan very well last week and ended up buying fast-food 4/7 days.

To avoid another takeout night I went and bought groceries.

I will say that the grocery store was nice and quiet once I got in. It’s nice to not have to battle the typical Sunday crowds.

I had a very boring dressing week last week.

Day one I took a trip back to the 90s, and by Friday it was hot out and I gave up and brought out my favourite t-shirt dress for the last 3 years.

I have it in yellow as well and they were a really good deal at Zara. I haven’t come across anything similar until recently when I saw this one at Uniqlo. It also has pockets like mine.

Positives from last week:

  1. Most of the trees have leaves now, and the spring flowers are in full bloom.
  2. My new face masks arrived and they are great.
  3. I haven’t been feeling as tired during the day which is a nice change.
  4. I made it 100 days straight in Duolingo French.
  5. My girls have started their Christmas lists already. Is that a positive 😉
