The theme of this quarantine for me is “I should be doing something, but I don’t feel like it.”

Every day I wake up intending to accomplish all kinds of tasks and then it always ends with me never actually doing them. I’m not sure what the deal is, but the lack of motivation is getting worse by the day.

The lack of motivation also seems to be contagious because I just had to beg my teenager to clean something in her room so I will actually notice an improvement and will stop bitching.

I’m even getting annoyed with the nagging of my voice.

I still haven’t moved the living room around even though I think the extra sunshine that will come through the windows will brighten our moods.

Maybe tomorrow.

Does anyone else not get the Tiger King craze?

I haven’t watched which probably should automatically disqualify me from having any kind of opinion on it, but I have no desire to see it.

I can’t watch things that have animal abuse in them. I also can’t get on board with them making a superstar out of a sexual predator.

Tom liked it though, along with everyone else in the world apparently since it is the number watched documentary on Netflix.

I’m still not going to watch it.

I have a post coming up sometime tomorrow that is styling a pair of pants 4 ways. These are a style of trousers that have been about a year’s search in the making.

Not that I have anywhere to wear them at the moment.

Stay safe.

  1. I refuse to watch Tiger King for the same reason. I don’t need to see animals living sad lives right now, or in general.

    • I’m with both you and Sara, Heather. Frankly, I don’t understand the fascination with a lot of current TV topics. Don’t people want to feel happier, positive? Crikey. No wonder so many feel unmotivated, depressed, bored. We need to demand a far better quality of entertainment…or go do something else (my personal choice). Every single sunny day we actually have, I want out. Just driving around our small town or venturing half an hour outward makes me so over-the-moon happy. Screw the idiots who think that glorifying someone like the Tiger King is a good idea.

      • I don’t get why people like to give fame to garbage people. It baffles my mind. There are so many better stories that need telling than this crap.

I do need to go out for a nice walk though, but the weather isn’t cooperating. They are forecasting snow tomorrow and I’m tempted to venture out into it just to get the hell out iof the house for a few minutes. I need to do a pharmacy run anyway so it might be a good excuse 😂

    • Yeah. I really don’t want to give attention to that kind of crap. I’m glad someone feels the same way. I hope you are staying safe and healthy.
