I spent a chunk of my afternoon looking at DIY Softbox videos on Youtube because I don’t want to have to pay for one if I can make it. I’m still trying to gather everything I need to do this Poshmark thing and a softbox is one of the main things I am looking for.

I know that most people just take quick photos of their stock and then upload, but I want to show everything to the best of my ability. I tend to gravitate towards the listings that have clean, and bright photos of the items, so that is what I want to have as well.

It just makes more sense.

You should see my living room though. There are bags and piles of things that I am going to be listing. I probably should have got everything ready AFTER I figured out all of the logistics, not before. Because now I am hopping between bags to get across the room.

We went to Value Village Saturday night and had an excellent haul. I think Roo did better than all of us. She found a pair of sneakers that she has been wanting, but for $6.99 vs almost $200.

Even Merle found a few things she liked. She kind of went through the stuff on her own which was really cute to see what kinds of things she would gravitate towards.  She found a checkered scarf, a sweater with little Eiffel towers on it, and a cat brooch.

I found a grey, wool/cashmere blend turtleneck for $4 too which was super awesome.

It’s always hit and miss with the pricing there which can be frustrating. They need to do some better research or hire people that know how to price well because so many things were way overpriced. /rant over

My thought of the day is that I want to get rid of our bed frame. It’s a beautiful frame but is way too big for the room. It’s meant for a spacious master bedroom and ours is maybe 11×9 ft. Super tiny, and I need to walk sideways to get past the foot of the bed.

Removing the frame would give us and extra 2ft of walking space, and make it look much less crowded. It would also potentially allow us to move the bed to another wall. There is only one option at the moment.

Although, I don’t think that Tom is a fan of this idea :/

  1. Howdy. I wish you great success with Poshmark, knowing full well that your listings will reflect your great style and best retail/merchandising practices/experience. Cheers, Ardith

    • Thanks Ardith!

Who would have thought that the logistics for this would be so difficult? I think 90% of my problem is that we live in such a small space that it is really hard to designate a photo and storage area. This is a long weekend so I am going to try and figure some stuff out hopefully.
