SHOP THE POST

I’m sitting here staring at the same laundry basket that has sat beside the couch full of laundry for the last week (more than that I think), but it is 8 at night and I am still working on this blog post.

I literally just finished putting the travel outfits together in Photoshop. My youngest is still in the bath (I think it’s going on over an hour now but she likes it and it is keeping her quiet), and I know for a fact that laundry basket will still be there in the morning.

I honestly don’t know where the day goes. Tomorrow is a new day. I’ll just keep chanting that. And while I am doing that I will also get on with this post.

In my last post which was also titled What to Pack for the United Kingdom (this is the second half of that which has the outfit options from those pieces), I talked about a great webinar I took and the things that resonated with me.

I asked the question of what you would do right this minute if money was no object, and my answer was to pack the family up and move overseas. This coincided with the destination of my packing list request yesterday (meant to be?).

I also talked about how my favourite part was putting the outfits together. I like to think about all the possible ways to wear something and this allows me to have that creative outlet, so I generally put together 20 travel outfit ideas from the travel capsule wardrobe, sometimes more.

The trip is for spring so most of the choices are pants and knits. All things you would generally wear in the fall/winter/spring months so it is a versatile packing list for different seasons.

This is a more colourful list, with brighter pieces and bolder choices because the requestee likes some bright colour integration (mainly green). While I was searching for faux fur coats like the one above I came across this one.

I am so loving the teddy bear look. After searching through a million faux fur jackets, I find that I prefer this teddy bear style more than other styles.

Are you into the faux fur jacket trend?
