Weekends in our house are for running errands. I generally have a weekend wardrobe uniform that I stick to in one form or another and I recently added some new pieces. Planning a Disney Vacation …. Maybe

Since Tom and I have been able to start a savings account and have been diligently putting money in it weekly we have noticed have fast it can accumulate.
Surprise, surprise. People always tell you to just automatically put a portion of each cheque in and you will never notice it is gone. It is easier said than done to actually do it, and yes, I notice it is gone. Continue Reading

Off to ComiCon to Meet Karen Gillan

Then something happened when I got pregnant at 24. Like I mentioned in a previous post, my skin went haywire. Acne, rashes, dry skin, and then one Christmas Tom gave me a beautiful ring. Continue Reading

March break started today. It’s not really that big a deal for us since I homeschool, but I like to give her some breaks that coincide with public school. Plus, the weather is a lot nicer and after this seemingly long winter we were due for a break.
Yesterday we went out as a family. Sunday is usually our errand day since Tom works many hours and spends Saturday recuperating. When we went down to the underground garage to get our car and Merle (my 4yo) decided that it would be completely awesome to Continue Reading
