Homeschool Curriculum Plans for the 2021/2022 School Year

My list of homeschool curriculum for the 2021/2022 year for grades 6 and 12.

Well hallelujah, look who finalized the homeschool curriculum plans. I know, I know. I really left it to the last minute this year. Time completely escaped me and then this weekend I saw that the Toronto District School Board doesn’t start school until the 9th this year so that gave me a couple more days.

We generally start when the locals start, it just makes things easier. We take off different times over the year and longer breaks over Christmas, but we tend to accomplish more in a short day than a lot of schools fit into 8 hours.

This is Roo’s last year of high school. She has no college plans at the moment because she will only be 17 when she graduates and she is in no rush.

What I Wore This Week

I am wearing a yellow robe wrap top, Agolde 90s jeans, black sandals, Le Specs, and a small basket bag.

I am wearing an Anine Bing sweatshirt, wide leg trousers, and black sandals.

I am wearing a white cropped t-shirt, grey joggers, leather jacket, Le Specs, and New Balance 327.

I have had a monster of a headache for the last 24 hours. It seems to be finally going away but it’s not a fun way to lose a weekend. I was trying to have a little nap on the couch for a few minutes earlier this evening, but Merle was giving me a non-stop play by play of what was taking place in Minecraft which made it impossible.

So I’m just sipping tea and rewatching The New Girl while hanging out with this post.

Summer Travel Packing List

I am doing something a bit different this week. Years ago I did a different 10 day packing list that went from day to night. It was actually one of my most popular posts then and seems to have begun to gain traction again which is weird since it is old.

I guess it is the fact that many countries are starting to open back up for travel and people are starting to research. That post was due for an update but I always put it off since I had a never-ending roster of posts that were either requested or that I wanted to finish.

What I Wore This Week

I am wearing a black dress, cardigan, leather jacket, and New Balance 327

I am wearing a white cropped tee, joggers, a trench coat, New Balance 327, and Le Spec sunglasses

I am wearing a white cropped tee, high waist jeans, a red vintage band jacket, and Prada Loafers

I am wearing a cream sundress, oversized leather jacket, Le Spec sunglasses, and black sports sandals

Surprise, surprise, I actually documented 5 outfits of the day this week. That never happens so I thought it would be worth pointing out. I think the midweek cropped t-shirt motivated me.

I was really warm today which on one hand was nice, but on the other hand sucks because:
a) It means that the summer weather grossness is coming, and
b) The building’s air conditioning won’t be completely transferred to cool air until the 25th so sleeping is really uncomfortable. This side of the building gets a lot of sun, so it gets warm really quickly.
