I have had a monster of a headache for the last 24 hours. It seems to be finally going away but it’s not a fun way to lose a weekend. I was trying to have a little nap on the couch for a few minutes earlier this evening, but Merle was giving me a non-stop play by play of what was taking place in Minecraft which made it impossible.
So I’m just sipping tea and rewatching The New Girl while hanging out with this post.
We did get our massive donation pile finally dropped off today, so now our front hall is about 70% more walkable and less crowded. It always feels good to get a good house purge done.
Those boxes and bags have been sitting there since we moved in and it was overwhelming and hard to enjoy the new space.
I keep jumping on the realtor site to see if our old apartment has been listed yet. I want to know how much they are asking for it, and what kind of repairs and upgrades were done. That’s just me being nosy though.
I’ve got a really cool purse coming in the mail tomorrow. It is a vintage 60s/70s magazine bag that I found on Etsy. I hope it is as great as I think it will be. I got inspired by Carla Rockmore who is my new, but absolute favourite follow on Instagram.
She said if you ever see a 1960s magazine bag, buy it. So I did.

She said she has been collecting pieces since she was a teen, and when I heard that my foot immediately kicked myself in the ass for getting rid of the many great pieces that I also had once upon a time.
Closet purging isn’t always the best option. This is a clear example why.
