I have come to the conclusion that my ultimate size in vintage Levi’s is a 32 waist if I want the perfect, more fitted fit, and a 33 for that touch of relaxed. Obviously, relaxed is my forte since that is my usual fit.

But I usually get a 34 because they are easier to find than 33s.

This week I am wearing my new (to me) vintage Levi’s in a 33 that were actually the pair that I included in the rock style capsule.

I couldn’t stop thinking about them.

It was like they were literally haunting me, so I sat on them to give someone else a chance to grab them. When no one did, I gleefully bought them, and they are as perfect as I hoped.

They are a 517 from 2002. 517s are a boot cut and were the fit that you most often saw Carolyn Bessette in. Anyway, they are probably one of the most perfect pairs that I own in wash and fit, and I am thrilled.

Zara is knocking it out of the park right now. I really love the indie sleaze vibe they have going currently.

This jacket is incredible, although really pricey. It looks like the one that I shared in my secondhand capsule a few weeks ago. And this one brings out the boho/romance but in a darker, more gothic kind of way.

You don’t need a new haul every season because these are the types of pieces that you only need one to add to your wardrobe to completely shift the vibe.

I love that, and I think that I might be getting inspired for this week’s wardrobe.

Today I was talking to my girls, and I told them that from now on, when we go thrifting, we are going to hit up the books section thoroughly.

With all the bullshit going on, I think having physical copies of anything you can get is an important change to make. I just need a library now.

And that is all the updates that I have. It has been pretty boring and low-key around here.
