I have had to walk down to the post office every day for the past week, which, on one hand, is excellent because it means stuff is selling, but on the other, it takes a chunk of time out of my day, and it is very hot, so I often come back and need to recoup some energy that it stole.
When I sell things, I usually just pack it up and then generate the QR code so that I can get the post office to print the label because my printer is old and I have to pull it out, and attach all the cords to get it running (it’s too old for Bluetooth).
Hence the QR codes.
But sometimes when I am dropping more than one thing off, I am paranoid that I am going to get them to scan the wrong QR codes for the packages and then everyone will receive the incorrect item.
I went through this on Sunday when I dropped off six things, even though I marked each one in a small area with what was inside, so as not to screw up.
But of course the line is long, and I get panicky and flustered becasue I hate being the person that holds the line, and even though I am certain I did it right, there is always that bit of doubt.
Which is why I want to get one of those Bluetooth thermal label printers eventually. Peel and stick would be a game changer.
I know the Rollo ones are the ones that everyone raves about, but at almost $300, that isn’t going to happen.
And while I hate Amazon and avoid it as much as humanly possible, they have one with over 7K good reviews for $129, which occasionally goes on sale.
So that is currently on my future wishlist because it will help to avoid the “what’s in the box” panic issue.
Anyway, I ended up using the Poshmark credit that I won a few weeks back to buy a pair of 2004 Adidas ballet flats that are on their way to me. I’m pretty stoked about them since they are hard to find and the ones that I have seen go for a few hundred dollars.
I guess I scored a deal, and I won’t complain.
Now on to this week’s finds.
A black bed jacket. Have I shared this? It is so very Dracula and Gothic. I love it.
I also have a thing for elbow patch sweaters at the moment. Well, maybe not just at the moment, since I have liked them for as long as I can remember.
This one is Ralph Lauren and is Merino wool.

I also really like leather jackets that have interesting shapes like this asymmetrical front one with batwing style sleeves. And it is grey, which is one of my favourite leather colours.
This little silk lace top is gorgeous.
Imagine it being paired with some men’s slouchy trousers. That contradiction makes for such great friction, and the best outfits always have some friction.

Look at these vintage suede pants with the little ankle straps. You can tighten them for that balloony effect or leave them loose.
The straps also make them easy to cinch and tuck into boots.
This vintage fringe jacket is a great price and is listed as an XXL, I believe, but check the measurements since vintage sizing is usually smaller.

It is almost glove season, and I am so excited. I love winter accessories.
And the combination of greens in this pair is stunning. They are listed as from the 1960s.
I adore this ring. I looks like a dug up artifact, and I am here for it. I would wear the shit out of this.

Two little vintage jacket-style blazers.
First is a floral velvet vintage Kenzo that is so stunning. What a great piece it is.
The other is a two-tone style with a waist cinch button and a fantastically vintage print lining. It feels very 80s/early 90s.

When shopping on Poshmark, always try to look past the bad photos like these slouchy boots.
They are incredible tiger print with a really tiny kitten heel and pointed toe. They are the quintessential fall boot if you want something with personality.
Or how about a maxi-length leather skirt that is vintage Banana Republic. Their vintage pieces are always worth it.

A Coach Ergo in really great condition. It is a great quality, minimalistic bag that you would get tons of use from.
Oxfords for fall, and if you want something a bit edgier, how about this studded Miu Miu pair?
I love oxford shoes, and am pissed that I let myself miss out on a dark green, croc embossed, Dries Van Noten pair at a consignment shop.
I totally dropped the ball on that one.

And lastly, we have a great oversized raglan shirt with a pop art style Jane Austen print on the front.
I love the image and the colour it adds.
Then the most expensive of the night, but also these bags are hard to find at prices much less than this. This one is actually on the lower end than what I have seen recently, so I thought I would share.
A vintage Gucci Jackie in an incredible colour combination. Based on the shape of the lock, it looks to be from the Tom Ford Era late 90s-early 00s.
He changed the shape from the cylindrical piston to this more geometric style. It is similar to mine, which is from around 98/99.
