The heat just broke, and I want to cry from happiness. It is so hot in here right now and has been for the last three days as this heatwave passed through.
I might actually sleep well tonight if it cools in here.
Once again, no theme this week. It goes from minimalist to maximalist and everything in between, so I want to start with these Schiaparelli eye earrings.
If you love Schiaparelli as much as I do and can’t afford the big stuff, then maybe some accessories will scratch the itch.
These earrings are glorious and are my favourite piece of the night. These are something that you shouldn’t wait for a special occasion to wear.
Throw these on with anything and everything,
Deer print is also something that we are seeing more of, and I actually have these in a leopard print that I bought maybe 6 years ago secondhand.
They are a great loafer, more like a smoking slipper style, which I really like.

I am a lover of vintage Ralph Lauren pants like these high-waisted, front-pleated pair. I need to dig my crpped pair out and give them a steam and an iron.
You would get a lot of use from these.
How about a mixed media sleeveless top? This is leather in the front and lace in the back, which makes a nice contrast and a touch of sexy from the sheerness.

I wanted to buy this khaki military-style button-up for myself because it just has that slightly outside-the-box vibe that I love.
The shoulder epaulettes make the shirt.
Or how about these leather Puma sneaker boots from the early 2010s? I’d wear them with a dress or tuck some baggy jeans into them.

The asymmetric hem on this Margiela plaid shirt is so much fun. I try to seek out pieces that have something interesting about them.
It just makes the shirt a bit edgy and way more interesting. This is the type of shirt that is a statement enough that you do not need that third piece.
This vintage Bottega bag caught my eye because it has that 90s minimalist feel with a bit more something to keep it interesting.
The animal print and slouchiness would make a perfect bag for now that you could carry through to fall.

We all know that I am a sucker for grey leather, but bring in that exaggerated neck, and add the spikey studs, and you totally win me over.
It is a great jacket.
Look at the shape of these Ferragamo pony hair loafers. The pronounced square-toe and whip-stitched edges are fabulous.

I know it really isn’t leather pant season anymore, even though I am going to make sure to squeeze some wear out of mine before the weather shifts hot again.
But these vintage Banana Republic leather trousers would be worth getting off season to squirrel away for fall.
Always keep your eyes open for vintage BR.
Or bring in some more minimal vibes with this black leather DKNY tote.
A plain black leather tote is something that is missing from my own wardrobe, and I have been looking to fill that wardrobe hole.
While I love this north-south shape, I am looking for a more east-west shape for myself since I have a tote in this shape already.
I like to make sure to have a variety of shapes and colours to make the most of my small collection.

Like this antique 1920s small metal clutch/shoulder bag.
It is so spectacular that I couldn’t, not include it. Seriously, though, this would be your special occasion clutch for weddings and events.
As a forever vintage Emanuel Ungaro fan, this little cropped cardigan caught my eye for the incredible sequin rose buttons.
This is the type of cardigan you keep the rest of the look simple, like with jeans, a slip skirt, or over a slip dress.

And for the last two pieces, because I love both Sonia Rykiel and trompe l’oeil style tops (and bags), I first have this knit sleeveless sweater vest/shirt with a corset on it.
It is so cute.
And finally, this suede 90s jacket with the fireman clasp closures, which are super on trend right now. I love fireman clasp closures.
Again, buy it off-season, but also those potentially cooler days/evenings that we might have. It has that 90s minimalism feel, but elevated because of the clasps.

That is it, friends.
I am still currently sweating my ass off while waiting for the apartment to cool down. I am also starving because I barely ate today from being too hot.
So I should probably get something before I pass out.
Take care of yourselves amid the fuckery of the world.
