This doesn’t happen often, but this week’s roundup has an outfit that I haven’t shared on Instagram yet. Yesterday was just not the time to be posting my frivolity.

There was and still is so much going on that it almost felt like an out-of-body experience.

The fear, sadness, and feeling of helplessness are overwhelming when witnessing how fast everything is escalating.

With so much stuff going on all around the world, I am not sure how people can just carry on like normal and not acknowledge anything ever.

To be that immersed in privilege is unfathomable. Truly mind-boggling.

I had a lot of time to think and doomscroll today since we are in the middle of an active snowstorm.

At one point, it was so heavy that I could see nothing but grey out my window, like it is when the fog is extremely thick.

The person who is plowing the front entrance to our building is having a hell of a time, and has been stuck more times than I can count. The wheels squealing is a dead giveaway.

So thankfully, it should be cleared by morning, but it is going to be messy. I wonder if they will call a snow day?

My husband’s work was cancelled tomorrow because of the snow.

This might be the first time in several years that I have to dig out my actual heavy-duty snow boots…if I can find them.

Not even a month into the new year, and it feels like it has been several lifetimes. Even the weather is kicking us when we are down.

Take care of yourselves, friends, it is only going to get worse.
