When I was working on my last capsule wardrobe, which focused on second-hand first, I had a lot of extra pieces that I found which didn’t make the final capsule cut.
So I decided that I would include some of them in tonight’s post because they were too good to waste.
I tend not to stick to current seasons with these roundups, because when it comes to secondhand fashion, regardless of the season, if you love it, you buy it.
Like sandals in winter, or leather gloves in the summer.
If you leave it, you will miss the opportunity.
And honestly, it is often cheaper to buy products during the off-season because many sellers are just looking to move their inventory and will offer better prices or be more willing to negotiate.
So to start, I have a vintage Ralph Lauren button-up in a military-esque style.
It reminded me of the one that I wore last week, although I actually like this one better.
As someone who is a huge fan of funnel neck anything, I love this vintage leather jacket with a tie detail waist.
It is very on trend right now, and I have seen some similar jackets at Zara this past week.

This blazer was originally in the capsule until I swapped it for one with a blue lining because it went with the colour palette better.
This one is stunning, though, I love the green and I am thinking about it for my wardrobe.
I gravitate to very large earrings, and yet I rarely wear them myself.
Maybe it is because I always feel like I am running out the door, so these finishing touch accessories don’t get worn often.
I love them, though and really need to start embracing my love for them.

I repeatedly share my love for vintage Sonia Rykiel pieces like these chevron print culottes that appear to have a slight barrel leg. A modern cut to an older piece.
A little further down, I have another Sonia Rykiel piece.
This vintage leather wrap jacket is stunning. I adore the colour oxblood and would love this one if I didn’t already have something similar.

Hello Bill Blass.
Remember him? He was extremely popular in the 70s and 80s, and this coat is from the 1980s. It is a beautiful, classic piece.
I have not seen a tall pair of Hunter Boots with a front lacing, and I kind of adore them.
Over the years, I have had a few pairs of Hunters in various colours and heights, but these are pretty awesome. Too small for me, and I haven’t found them in my size yet.
I also love the classic green rainboot colour.

This orange and blue striped blazer is linen and would be perfect for spring. It is also the second Sonia Rykiel piece.
You could do so much with it, like a classic French girl look, to pairing it with some relaxed jeans, a graphic tee, and lots of necklaces for more of a streetstyle vibe.
I am not certain if this vintage Dior tunic-length top is pyjamas or not, but I would totally wear this as a shirt. I love the piping detail and colour contrast.

Mules are super on trend at the moment, and this pair from Vince are beautiful.
I haven’t been a fan of the shape of some of the mules available, but these? I really like the shape and colour of these.
I also love the colour of these Tod’s driving loafers. A cute little slip-on shoe in a statement colour.

The shape and style of this brown leather wrap style jacket is a showstopper. There is a minimalistic simplicity, but the detailing is also very standout.
It is a great piece.
As is this statement necklace by Kenneth J. Lane. I love something big and bold like this.

And to finish it, I have two bags that are so different.
A 1970s suede, checker-patterned shoulder bag. It is a great size for everyday use.
Then, a black leather Gucci bag that has a much more modern and minimalist feel even though it is an older style.

I am writing this as I am waiting for my secondhand/vintage purchase to arrive.
It has been out for delivery for about 9 hours now, and I am thinking it isn’t going to arrive tonight, which is bumming me out.
It is the Junya Watanabe 2004 deconstructed tweed jacket that I ordered on the weekend which I talked about in my last post.
Edit to add: never mind, apparently they attempted delivery 30 minutes ago, which they didn’t.
And there wasn’t even a notice left on where to pick it up, so I get to deal with this shit tomorrow.
