This week has a strong focus on statement jackets. The urge to find them came after the conversation last week about never wearing my gold jacket because I felt it was too much.
I overthought it a lot, which made me avoid wearing it.
And then I gave myself a mental shake and made a promise to wear it more.
Not only that, but to seek out more statement jackets that I can pair with regular basic/boring bases to instantly make them anything but boring.
So let’s start with this silver lamé beauty with the frog buttons, puff shoulders, and mandarin collar.
Pairing this with simple jeans and a t-shirt will make it the coolest outfit with minimal effort.
What I love about this second jacket is the mixed media. So it is a looking satin blazer in the front, and then the back is a lace panel. How cool is this?

Sorry for the picture of a man. lol.
I love this gold blazer with tails, though. It is perfect, and I kind of want it for myself.
This black silk vintage Jil Sander wrap jacket is pretty fantastic. Very classic, elevated, chic and minimalist.

Now let’s move on to what we will layer under these amazing statement jackets.
First is a leather tank from MM6 Maison Margiela. The perfect base piece to build an outfit around because it isn’t basic at all.
I love this Fling It! graphic tee. I am on a perpetual hunt for the perfect graphic t-shirt, which is never-ending because there are so many to be found.
I know that it looks white, but it is actually very pale blue which actually makes it better. I love blue and orange.

Because I love brooches, and I love frogs. The red jewel eyes are amazing.
We know that I am a Furla lover, and we know that I love a Boston bag. This bag is both, and dark brown suede, which makes it the trifecta of perfection for a bag.

The little skinny belt on this vintage leather jacket caught my eye.
It is a nice touch that makes it more interesting than a regular black leather jacket of similar design (which there were tons in the late 90s/early 2000s).
I also like to share vintage fringe jackets that are a good price when I come across them, like this one.
Sometimes all you need is a fun jacket to make your wardrobe so much more interesting.

These are like the perfect black boots.
The square toe and perfect height heel that has a slight curved shape. You can’t go wrong with these.
I’m a fan of the hardcase metallic clutches like this one.
It has a shoulder strap that is removable, which I prefer because I think they are more interesting as a clutch thana shoulder bag.

When I saw these blue croc loafers, I instantly wanted them.
I like how it combines different blues rather than being one uniform shade. These are interesting shoes.
I have a shoe that is similar to this patent Mary Jane, but mine has a t-strap and no studs. I actually forgot about them, and I am going to dig them out.

And we finish with my two favourites.
This vintage 90s/Y2K Anna Sui silk dress is like one of those dresses that you can use for almost any occasion. This is a stunning piece.
Finally, this vintage pendant is actually a perfume holder in the fish. The body opens up, and you would place the perfume in there.
I love how quirky it is.

That is it, my friends.
I think this week’s capsule is going to be about thrifting since we need to try to stay away from the Cyber weekend sales if possible.
And to that I wish you good luck.
