Did you see that the Louvre was burglarised today in under 4 minutes? Like some serious movie-level jewel heist took place. I am actually surprised in this day and age that something this brazen was so seemingly easily accomplished.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a highly skilled jewel thief. That later evolved into being a spy and a private investigator.

Although I actually think that a private investigator would be super interesting in a Sherlock Holmes-ish way. I already have the right last name for it 😉

I did a nice little walk in the rain today while running some errands because the weather was obnoxiously warmer again.

I also caught a ladybug that was stuck inside the mall and let it out for its last hurrah of the season, and helped a woman get her stroller over the curb when she got stuck and was panicking.

All in all, a productive day, I guess.

Also, my nose is still stuffy from my cold a few weeks back, which is annoying.

I am starting to think it might be from a lack of ventilation in here since the windows were closed 99% of the summer, so I have opened everything up in hopes of bringing in a nice and cool fresh air to circulate the shit out of everything.

I don’t know if I ever mentioned that there were issues with our laundry stack over the last year. A stack in a condo is a group of units that run on the same plumbing system.

I am not certain who would be in ours, probably the few above and directly below, but someone in the stack was overdoing the laundry soap, and it would occasionally back up out of the drainage pipe in the wall of the laundry closet, where the washing machine drains into.

There were always tons of bubbles and some water, and it was messy and annoying because I never knew when it was going to happen, so I was constantly checking throughout the day and night.

Well, about a month ago, I heard a little noise and then saw there was a bit of water backed up that spilled out onto the floor, and then there has been nothing since.

So I am starting to think maybe there was a clog or something, and that others were experiencing it, and maybe a plumber snaked the line, resulting in that noise and a bit of water.

Fingers crossed it has resolved, since it has been weeks, when it was happening bi-weekly at one point.

Even if there was a clog, someone was still definitely using too much detergent, because there is no way that was a normal amount of bubbles from a load of laundry.

It was pouring out like when you see someone use dish soap in the dishwasher. Not fun.

And now that I have said that out loud, I have probably jinxed myself, so I will continue checking obsessively.

I just finished the k-drama Vincenzo, and it was great. It was one of those, “why didn’t I watch this earlier?” shows.

I’m still waiting for the boots from Zara that are like my Mango (outfit 2) ones to stock. They came out on the US site earlier this morning and appear to have sold out, and some sizes are coming soon again.

So I will still be keeping an eye and checking obsessively, along with the laundry room. I annoy myself sometimes with my ridiculousness.

Have a great week.
