And just like that, it is hot again. Yesterday and today have been like a blast of summer, which many people are rejoicing over, but I am so not thrilled.

This summer was one of the hottest I remember, and I am so ready for cold air and even some snow.

Because of the heat, I wanted to lie low, so nothing irks me more than wanting to spend the last day of the weekend quietly at home only to realize, that yes, I do in fact have to go out into the blistering heat to run some errands.

At least it allowed me to do some Zara returns, and try on a few things that I saw online that caught my eye.

I think I walked around with this jacket in my hand for 45 minutes, trying it on in front of every mirror available.

There was something about it that made me keep wanting to try it on again. Usually, as soon as I put something on, it is a definite yes or no.

With this, I think it was a yes, but the price was making me doubt the yes. So I am going to think about it, and if it is still there when I go back in a couple of days, then I will try it on again.

Also, I was indecisive about the size.

I was vacillating between the small and medium, so when I say I walked around the store with the jacket, what I actually meant is that I walked around with a small and medium and kept trying them both on at every mirror I passed.

I am certain that I was that super annoying person, but the changerooms had a massive lineup, and since it was a jacket, I didn’t need to take up a room unnecessarily, even though I hate trying stuff on in front of people.

The sizes didn’t have a huge difference, but there were subtle ones with fit, which was part of the problem, too.

I would like to say time well spent today, but it wasn’t.

Before I sign off, I wanted to talk about the sweater I am wearing in outfit two. It is something that I found in the men’s section that immediately caught my eye a few weeks back.

Always check out the men’s section because their stuff is often better quality than women’s.

For instance, this sweater is 100% cotton, compared to most of the women’s sweaters that I have seen recently are polyester or acrylic blends.

Men’s sweaters are more relaxed in fit, so you will notice a looser torso, and the shoulders will drop a bit lower, which is actually my preferred fit, so I am very happy with it.

I grabbed the medium.

Also an update on the Song For The Mute X Adidas sneakers, they are up on the US and Canadian Adidas site for an October 10th release. And in the UK on BSTN on the 9th.

Available in all three colours: tan (my colour), olive, and black. You can set a reminder on Adidas. I recommend going 1/2 a size down.

Have a great week. Hopefully.
