There were a few things that I realized this week while I was narrowing down what to include in this post.
Some were things that I wanted to add to my wardrobe, but was unaware until I saw it. The other was little styling tips that I subconsciously use for myself, but wanted to share them in case you find them useful when shopping for yourself.
One of the wardrobe pieces that I want is a vintage zipper necklace like this one. Sometimes you see them in sets with matching earrings, but often they are solo.
The prices vary wildly, so it is worth shopping around. This one is one of the bigger versions that I have seen, because they are usually much smaller, almost minimalist-like.
The Frye boots are the brown version of my black pair, and I don’t think I have ever seen them in this brown before.
I have seen them in a darker, more beat-up brown, but this lighter version is pretty delighful.

Another wardrobe wish list item is a burgundy leather jacket, preferably vintage.
The first one has a snake print on it, which is something that I love. I am all about snake print right now.
The second one is deeper burgundy with a sheen, in more of a bomber style jacket. Both are great, albeit two totally different looks, so it depends on the vibe you are going for.

I am always in the market for a little statement shoe, and these vintage Miu Miu flower heels would be the perfect heel for summer. You could wear them with anything, to any event.
I don’t know if you can tell, but these Prada loafers are purple.
There is something about a subtle alternative to traditional black that makes something so much better.
These would be, and are fabulous in black, but the purple is just that little bit better.

Sacai is like the master of mixed-media clothing, and this little knit cardigan with attached silk cami is a more subtle example of that.
The neon and grey combo is fantastic and so Y2K feeling. The camisole hanging out from under a sweater is so in right now, and I love this option. I am very into neon right now.
I love seeking out vintage knitwear in natural fabrics like this YSL turuleneck sweater that is 100% cotton.
Not only is it easy to care for, but it also will last you so much longer than a polyester fast fashion sweater.
Such a classic piece, in a men’s slightly oversized fit.

Here is that styling tip I was talking about above.
When the weather cools and we start wearing outerwear, often our choices are neutral jackets. No matter how bold the outfit you are wearing underneath, a neutral jacket is what will dominate your look.
So fall is a great time to use your handbags to add that colour, texture, or visual interest to an otherwise very neutral look.
All animal prints are a go-to for me, but even better if you can find them in bright or interesting colours like this green and gold tote, and the dark brown and cobalt blue cow print bag.
They are both so good. I don’t know if I could decide, because I love gold, but also cobalt.

This Dolce & Gabbana black corduroy hat is one piece that I almost added to my own cart. It is like the perfect pair for me, and the size that I usually wear.
I was very excited about that piece.
Isabel Marant boots are another thing that I always love to look for because she has had so many good styles over the years that you will see all over the secondhand market.
These little animal print boots are like a perfect boot for fall.

I don’t know if you can tell, but this gold Emanuel Ungaro skirt has little tiny stars on it. It is amazing. Emanuel Ungaro has some great vintage pieces if you want to spend some time going through them all.
This skirt is listed as from the 80s/90s and is silk.
The perfect little wrap blazer/jacket from Oscar De La Renta. You can’t really go wrong with a tweed blazer at any time, and this wrap style is also very modern looking.
I could hop onto any retailer right now and find an iteration of this piece.

And lastly, I have two pieces that will make your wardrobe.
This sleeveless leather shirt by Versace is prime, and the only reason it is not in my cart is because it will not fit me. I am going to try to search out one that will.
I have been going through a lot of vintage Versace this past week. I think it might be a current obsession.
And lastly, every woman’s wardrobe should have a men’s trench coat. One of those oversized styles that hangs extra long, and cinch tightly with a belt.
This is a version of one of those coats. It is perfect.

And that is it for tonight.
There were several more that I was debating on sharing, but I think I will save them for some Instagram stories over the week.
I am so thrilled that it finally feels like fall and that I can actually enjoy many of these pieces or similar ones that I plan to add to my wardrobe.
