I know that I will totally jinx myself, as per the way it always works, but dare I say that fall is in the air? The humidity has dropped, and it is much more comfortable when I have to spend time outdoors.

That being said, I am fully prepared for the second summer that inevitably comes in September to slap us in the face in a mocking way.

But for the moment, it is nice.

The vintage suede coat that I ordered around two weeks ago is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see what it looks like in person.

I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

I saw this one today, and it looks a lot like the one I got (at least in the photos), but mine was not as expensive.

It might be a bit swingier/more a-line, though. Sometimes it is hard to tell from pictures, which is why I can’t wait to see it in person.

I saw today that a large number of countries are shutting off shipping to the US as of now, which is so crazy to me that it has gone this far.

The rippling effect of these tariffs has gone far and wide, and it is just getting worse. It is almost surreal with the damage it is causing.

The long-term effects are going to be extensive and felt mostly by the middle class and poor as per usual.

So, I guess that means I will have to pay attention to items’ shipping locations when I post my secondhand finds, since about 65% of my audience is from the US.

As a Canadian, I am accustomed to paying duty charges on pretty much any package that comes internationally, so I have got into the habit of mentally adding that to the total cost so I know if I am actually getting a bargain.

Apparently, you guys didn’t have that thanks to the de minimis exemption, and the added fees are causing chaos, hence the across-the-board cancellation of shipping.

Speaking of bargains (definitely not a bargain). I saw a leather jacket at Value Village for $130. What is that about?

Holy shit, they have got audacity now. They think they are part of the reselleing market and should therefore price accordingly, but they run by donations, and that is not the same thing.

The prices are getting wild in there, and they need a come-to-Jesus moment before their business model implodes.

That’s it for today. Try to have a good week.
