I decided to take a gamble and try to do a Zara return, in-store today. I figured the sale had been on long enough that it probably slowed down a bit, and I was right.

I think I waited 20 minutes, maybe.

The store was still busy, so I ran out quickly after and headed to a few other stores before going home.

I tried on the navy and red striped sweater from the round-up and liked it a lot. True to size. Online tends to get better deals, so I am going to see what sales or discounts hit this weekend.

Story time: The revolves around the return of the Wallabee shoes like the purple ones above.

In 2001/02 (I can’t remember exactly), I got a pair of brown ones and was so excited to wear them.

I was going to college and had roommates at that time, and I had to return to my parents for a few days because I was getting my wisdom teeth removed.

When I came back, I found out one roommate had friends come down for a visit, but didn’t think much of it because she was the quietest, kindest one who lived there, so I figured her friends would be similar.

One of them stole my new Wallabees. I was so pissed off.

We never figured out which one took them, which sucks because I hold grudges for life and would love to have added her to the list.

Anyway, have a great weekend.

In case you missed it, I put together a post titled Art School in Summer: Eclectic and Effortless Capsule Wardrobe yesterday.
