I have come to the conclusion that my favourite go-to store (in a mall) is Simons. More often than not, whenever I go in there, I find something that I want to buy.
Especially since they have a small secondhand and vintage section, which they seem to refresh weekly.
I have found quite a few pieces in that section.
And since it’s not just clothes, I often find things for our home as well.
Anyway, that is my long-winded way of saying that I bought a couple of things there this past week.
One is the cardigan in outfit three. Today, when I went out to pick up some cat food, I stopped in “just to look” and ended up seeing a polka dot button-up on a mannequin that I wanted to try on.
Which always seems to happen when you just intend to look.
They also have some great bath mats on sale for a decent price, and since the bath mat in the girls’ bathroom is pretty beat up and shredding, I wanted to see if there were any good ones.
Spoiler: there was, but I am going back to get one later this week because I was on a mission to find the polka dot blouse.
This mission led me to walk through the store for quite a bit until I found it because I hate asking people for help, and along the way, I saw a polka dot tie.
Which I didn’t grab when I saw it, so I had to rewalk around the store after I tried to button up on, because I couldn’t remember where I had originally spotted it.
I am a chaotic person to shop in person with.
Also, maybe my seasonal thing is polka dots this year.
The polka dot version of the tie isn’t online, but they have it in a couple of other colours. I find that they often get stuff in stores before online, so they may still get it.
There was an animal print version as well, which was fu,n and now I have regrets for not getting.
