This week, I did something a little different when choosing my outfits. On the last day, I went back to what I wore earlier in the week and picked one item from each day to put together in a new outfit. It is a chance to showcase rewearing and putting together new ideas.
Today was a quiet day that I had hoped to spend a chunk reading by myself, but I had to get something in the mail, so it was an outing and errands for me.
These outings always lead to window shopping and browsing since the closest post office is in the mall.
I am proud of myself, though.
I went through several stores, including Simons, which is usually my downfall, and I ended up putting everything back that I was going to try on.
This is where I was going to say that I didn’t buy anything last week, but then I realized that was a lie.
Late last night, I spent a good chunk of time searching for a pair of green and yellow Adidas x Wales Bonner track pants secondhand.
Originally, I found a pair on Poshmark, and I was excited because the price and size were what I was hoping to find.
But then I saw that the seller a) hadn’t had any sales yet, and b) hadn’t been online since the beginning of April when she listed the items.
This is usually the type of seller who you buy from and they never end up shipping. It is always such a disappointment when that happens.
Because it never fails to occur when it was something that you have been searching for a long time at a great price and is hard to find.
She hasn’t responded to mine or someone else’s comment yet either, so I don’t have high hopes.
Which makes me always wonder why bother spending the time listing if you aren’t going to follow through?
Taking photos and listing is a pain in the ass so there is no point to me unless you are motivated to sell.
Anyway, here is the listing on Poshmark Canada in case someone else wants to take a chance and see if they ship.
They are originally around $400 new, so this is a deal for a worn-once pair. I found mine on eBay, and they have another pair here (size small), and here (size large).
Note: It is a unisex sizing, and I got a medium based on measurements and how I like them to fit.
If you can find them in stores, they are most likely marked down, but still close to $300, which is why I spent the time to try and find them secondhand.
And places like GOAT and StockX are often even more pricey, but are sometimes the only place you can get certain releases once they sell out.
So yeah, I made the purchase before midnight, and it counts as a last week purchase. I don’t flagellate myself too much when it is a secondhand purchase.
But I do need to get my act together and get more stuff listed on Poshmark this week.
