I know it was naive for me to think that we were on the other side of winter weather since last week was quite spring-like, but I was hoping a bit.

Not that I don’t like winter, but there was a lot of snow this year. More than I have seen in many many years, so I kind of wanted to see a bit of green versus dirty piles of snow.

I’m pretty sure that daffodils were growing out of the snow piles in a dream I had last night.

It just came to me like a flashback when I was typing this. I don’t remember anything else about the dream though.

When I was stress shopping a few weeks ago I bought some vintage Levi’s 517s. They arrived this week and you can see them in the third outfit.

This style was Carolyn Bessette’s favourite which you see often on her in the few photos that we have.

It is a great bootcut with a higher rise.

I took a gamble with the size because I knew that I wanted them more fitted than my usual, and since the rise is higher I also had to take that into consideration.

But it worked out.

One size smaller probably would have been perfect but they fit well.

That was the last of my stress purchases that I was waiting to arrive. Now I just need to get organized for spring and summer.

I do want to get a vintage pair of jeans with a much shorter inseam for summer though, maybe a 26-27″ inseam.

There was a pair of levis that I lived in many years ago that were a 26 inseam and I loved them, wearing them all the time.

Unfortunately, they no longer fit, and probably never will again so the hunt is on.

Which is my favourite part.
