I was trying to boost my mood this week so I found myself gravitating to more colourful pieces to include in the roundup.
There are a lot of spring-weight jackets in the collection because I am always on the hunt for a good jacket so it is like second nature to keep my eye open for them
Sometimes I follow a list of what I am looking for in my personal wardrobe, but more often it is random finds that I come across in a week and save for these posts.
So let’s start with some jackets and blazers.
The first is a vintage shirt/blazer from probably the 80s with a very strong Mugler-esque vibe with the cinched waist and exaggerated bottom.
It is quite a statement and would work well with jeans.
The second is a mustard colour suede jacket with leather details and a beautiful light pink lining with birds on it.
This one is tempting me.

I am calling this yellow moto the badass Charlie Brown because of the colour and the pattern up the sleeves that reminds me of his t-shirt.
I love it. A lot.
This would be your statement jacket if you ar looking for one. Imagine it paired with all your spring pieces like dresses, skirts, jeans, trousers, culottes, shorts. Any and all outfits.
When I find them I like to share vintage bed jackets. I like the ones from the 30s and 40s best because they are usually silk with delicate details like lace and ribbons.
They also usually come in this pale pink colour which is a huge spring trend this year.
Wear it over a t-shirt or tank to level your look up.

‘Tis the season for bucket bags and when it is green you can’t go wrong. I was dancing around getting this one but am trying to reign it in.
Don’t sleep on vintage Sonia Rykiel like this purple clutch. I usually seek her clothes because they always have interesting cuts and details, but this clutch is so much fun.
It has that 80s vibe and is a great way to inject that colour into a wardrobe that may lean neutral.

Hello, beautiful Moschino blazer with mixed fabrics and coloured buttons.
It brings me joy.
Honestly, most Moschino blazers bring me joy. This one is way less campy than what I usually find but damn it is good.
I gasped a bit when I saw this blue corduroy shirt dress.
It has that vibe that is somewhat retro, but also minimalistic and modern depending on how you wear it.
I would so pair this with jeans, and some big sunglasses. Maybe that purple clutch form above?
Look at the bell sleeves.

Shoes, are forever my weakness.
This first pair is like an oxford without the laces. It has that early 2010s indie sleaze feel to it. Maybe pair it with a band jacket those skinnies that are coming back.
Not the stretchy skinnies, but the more modern cuts and fabrics. They are actually more like and slimmer straight leg.
Whatever the pairing, they are awesome.
Donna Karan olive green, square-toed ballerinas? Yes, please.
But seriously, this colour and shape is like top on my checklist of what to look for.

A burgundy velvet maxi coat by Calvin Klein. I know that it isn’t velvet maxi coat season…well it still is here, but not for long.
I would totally take this and squirrel it away for next season, and then bust it out anytime the weather dropped to 15 degrees.
I adore Bally pieces, they are such good quality so when I saw these red knee-high boots I knew that they needed to be included.
These would just be next level. I wish they were my size.

I always, always look for vintage Ralph Lauren and today I had success in two great jackets. A little green velvet with tiny buttons and a mandarin collar.
It looks like a 90s style and very similar to some things that I owned. We loved this cut and fabric back then.
And then a great RL suede fringe jacket. It’s more of a fitted style versus the oversized look but is a great find.

Lastly, I went with some accessories. This faux pearl necklace has such a beautiful clasp that resembles jade. I’d probably wear it with that piece showing in the front.
This vintage lion brooch reminded me of the Lion King musical poster and I love it.

So these are the things that caught my eye this week, although I actually had around 30 pieces saved.
I’m not posting that many though, too time-consuming and it would make the post very long to scroll down.
Maybe I will share the rest sporadically over the week.
Take care.
