I noticed this week that when I was setting up the links for my outfits so many pieces were old and/or secondhand that I had to spend some time searching various reselling sites like eBay and Poshmark to see if I could find them.

That means that my wardrobe is headed in the direction that I have been working for and it starting to become noticeable.

Except for the sock boots in the last outfit.

I bought those at the beginning of January when I got the notification that they came back in stock in my size.

I have been searching for flat sock boots that have a Row-esque vibe without The Row price tag.

I shared these in my Boho Winter capsule from the middle of December and immediately went on the restock notification list for my size.

They are all that I hoped, and although they are mostly sold out it is worth trying for a restock notification because the extended holiday return period isn’t over yet, so you might get lucky.

Besides that, there hasn’t been anything new bought. My winter wardrobe is well rounded, and I can use most of it once the weather starts to warm for spring.

It is always the summer season that throws me and I hate preparing for it, so I plan on ignoring it for as long as possible.

There was an issue with the heat in our building yesterday and it wasn’t working while they were doing a repair.

We were without heat for about 7 hours, and while it got cold, we were able to use blankets and wear slippers and sweaters, and the cats snuggled up.

It was actually nice.

In the reverse, when the air conditioning was broken in the summer for a few hours it was awful, and it made me angry, lethargic, unmotivated, and bitchy and that was only about 6 hours.

That basically sums up how I feel about summer.

May this week be better than last. Hopefully.
