Our building sent out a notice yesterday that next week they would be doing their annual fire inspection in all of the units which means they have to enter every unit and test that all alarms, sensors, and safety panels are working.

Is it just me, or does this seem like a really bad time to do it?

This is such a busy time for everyone that it makes sense to me for them to wait until January. Or even last month when it was much less hectic.

Very, weird and I also have to clean the hell out of here because it is getting back into chaos mode, and they need easy access to certain areas and walls that are not that easily accessible at the moment because of furniture placement.

So that is going to be super fun, especially since my youngest has a birthday this upcoming weekend as well.

Bad timing overall.

I realized what my surprise package was that I mentioned last post. The one I got an out for delivery notification for but wasn’t certain what it could be?

It was a naloxone kit. The government of Canada is sending out free kits to anyone who places an order because they want to make sure that people have access to these kits in case of an opioid overdose.

I thought it was a smart thing in this day and age for anyone with kids to get a kit or two that can be carried in a bag in case of an emergency. Fentanyl is one scary mother fucker.

So I guess that was a good surprise. It has been a while since I ordered it so I completely forgot about getting one.

I have not made any purchases since before Black Friday which is impressive for me.

Although I have to get a micro SD card for the Nintendo Switch otherwise they won’t have any room for the new game that they are getting.

We had some heavy snow last week but as of today it is mostly gone, so I wonder if it will be a white Christmas.

I’m good with just rain.

Happy last few weeks before Christmas. I hope it is not too stressful for you.
