I have a cold, and I haven’t had one of those in a long time. When I went to pick up my youngest from her art class last week I sat in a chair to wait which was a few chairs away from a women who was talking to a man.
I could tell that she was sick because she kept sneezing and sounded congested and I thought, “well shit, I’m probably going to catch what she has”.
And then Friday night I started to get a sore throat.
Why don’t people who are knowingly sick wear a mask? I will never understand this many years out of global sickness people still aren’t doing that.
I don’t get it.
She was sitting in the middle of a place where kids gather to take various classes and she was just sneezing and coughing everywhere.
So thank you, kind lady, for making my weekend miserable. Add that to the fact that the hot weather has come back and we no longer have a/c, making it miserable x 100.
I keep asking myself self, “Is it a fever or is it just uncomfortably hot in here?”
So far it hasn’t been a fever thankfully.
Change of topic from bitching, My Hades Wool sweater that I am wearing above is my absolute favourite sweater.
A while back they put out some really cool sweaters called the “eccentric series” and I wanted both the cigarette buttons, and the fuck buttons.
They just came back in stock (and are selling out fast) and I decided that I am going to sell a bunch of things on Poshmark to buy the green cigarette button version for myself.
It was a hard decision between the two, but when am I ever going to find a cigarette button sweater again?
This is the Christmas present to me, from me that I was talking about in Friday’s post.
I am a huge proponent of buying things that you love if it is within your means. And buy things that really speak to you and are interesting, not trendy.
Something you will wear and cherish for a long time, and to me this is one of those things that I will look forward to wearing season after season, year after year.
I’ve already sold 4 things, so I am already more than halfway there.

The cigarette sweater holy hell, amazing!
I know! I was so upset when it sold out last time. I didnāt think it would restock so when I got the notification it motivated me to sell some things Iāve been meaning to list for awhile. Fast forward, it arrived yesterday and itās even better in person.
