I think I set my own personal record tonight for how many times I told my youngest to go shower before she actually went and did it. I’m not certain of the aversion to showering, but the amount of time I spend trying to get people to do stuff is obnoxious.

I’ve been feeling a little uninspired now that the hot weather has made a comeback, I’m just thankful that it is the last dredges of the heat and that early mornings and nights are much cooler so it is technically avoidable.

Random thought, but I miss the time when Walmart was open 24 hours.

We have one very nearby and it is open later than the surrounding retailers, I think it closes at 11 every night. And yes, I know that is technically late but I am a night person and there have been several occasions that having access to it at like 2 o’clock in the morning would have been ideal.

I wonder what people who relied on it due to working weird hours do now?

That thought just popped into my mind because it is 9:30 and I was just thinking that it would be a good time to get my grocery shopping done for the week.

Or at least a part of the week because I can’t carry home a week’s worth of groceries no matter how much I convince myself that I can.

So that H&M coat that I wanted to try should arrive tomorrow. I am a little concerned with the size I got since it is so long, but I took a gamble and we shall see.

And lastly, as you can see, I received a pair of vintage 90s pointy-toe boots early this week that I ordered, and decided that I loved them so much I was going to wear them for the rest of the week.

They are pretty incredible and perfect for fall.

I need to get some leather conditioner to keep them in tip-top shape though, because they’ve been around a long time and with care hopefully they will be around for much longer.

Have a great week!

  1. Hi! So glad to know about Tees for Togo! Did you size up or down at all? I want the Carrie Brownstein one!

    • They have so many good ones! I loved that one as well. I bought a medium, but a large would have worked too for the more relaxed tee fit I prefer. I typically wear a women’s medium/6 if that helps with the fit.
