As someone whose favourite colour is green, I can’t explain my delight in how much green is showing up in stores already. The fall season hasn’t even kicked in 100% yet so this is just the beginning.

Style tip: Buy something green for fall. There are so many tones of green that there will be one for every taste.

In case you missed it I posted some summer outfit ideas at the beginning of the week, and a fall capsule for women over 40 yesterday, in which I rant a bit in that post.

It’s a long weekend here, plus my birthday on Tuesday so all kinds of excitement. And by excitement, I mean same old, same old with maybe a cake thrown in.

And before I sign off, I found these shoes at Zara which remind me of medieval peasant shoes. We all know how much I love the medieval time period.

Anyway, I love them and the colour is so lush. Burgundy is a fall trend and I might have to get them.
