My whole household is currently in panic cleaning mode because the building has the vent and duct maintenance people coming in this week, and our floor is being done on Tuesday.
I knew it was coming up but they usually give us several weeks heads up which gives me time to space out the cleaning of the areas they will need access to.
This time they let us know a few days ago, so now I am like the exorcist with my head spinning trying to figure out what needs to be done and to get everyone to participate.
Totally my fault for having things set up in a way that blocks those areas but when you are living with four people and all their belongings plus two cats in about 850 sq ft, it doesn’t leave much room for being choosy where you put stuff.
Especially when most of those people really like their stuff and don’t want to purge and donate as much as I do.
But, I do have a pile of things that need to be brought to donation drop off tomorrow which should help clear the front entrance. It is mostly my stuff, but that’s better than nothing.
On a positive note, Tom was able to get four shifts last week after almost a year without work which takes some weight off my shoulders.
It’s been a rough time lately so hopefully this is a turn in the positive direction, and he’ll find something full-time with more consistent hours.
The Zara at the mall that I go to the most is being renovated to be a two-floor location. The area it plans to encompass is huge so I can’t wait to see what they carry. Maybe they will have home stuff too?
It is still currently open but to a more limited capacity since areas are blocked off for construction, but I am glad that I can still go in if I have a return because online returns suck.
I haven’t bought anything there in a while though.
Now that I have finished watching part two of season 3 of Bridgerton I am at a loss of what to watch next.
Maybe I will scroll through the K-Dramas, there are always some really good stories in there. I am partial to crime dramas but I am willing to try anything right now.
