Oh man, did we ever have a fun-filled antiquing weekend. We haven’t antiqued this hard in a LONG time. Two places that we have never been to before and are about an hour and an hour and a half drive from the city, and we hit the mother load.
Well worth the drive.
I wish we would have gotten there earlier because they closed at 5, and we ran out of time.
I’m hoping to go back this weekend because we only got to see about half, and sped through areas to try and see as much as possible.
But holy crap, there was a lot.
The people who work there just walk around and collect your stuff and bring it to the front, giving you a card with a number to keep track of all the stuff you’re buying.
Then you’re just handing stuff off and telling them your number.
It’s very efficient to keep your hands free and keep you looking.
Just beware because if you aren’t keeping track you might have a surprise at how much you have when it comes time to check out.
If I ever become rich, what I plan to do with my money is open up a vintage/antique shop. It’s my literal dream, even though I think I would want to keep everything.
Sigh.
That is my ultimate end goal.
Stay safe.
