The temperature today and the sunshine was absolutely beautiful. It was more like mid-April weather than early March. That being said, it was ridiculously windy, and we couldn’t go out and enjoy it.

Things were blowing all over the place. I get nervous walking around here in extreme winds because there are so many condo constructions going on and things blow off of them. It can be dangerous.

I had to bring all the balcony furniture into the house temporarily because they were moving around, and I was scared they were going to smash into the plexiglass balcony walls.

Back to cold temperatures tomorrow.

And even though today was warm, summer feels far off. This means that I won’t be wearing sandals anytime soon, BUT sometimes it’s good to jump on the summer purchases early so you don’t miss out on something that might become popular and sell out.

I’m taking the gamble on the Birkenstock Arizona Eva this year. It is a classic style but in a modern yet early 2000s foamy/rubber material.

I think based on the selling trends of it that it is going to be popular. It is currently selling out in many colours, but I just went for black.

I personally didn’t want to do anything bright with this, as I have a few other summery shoes in bold colours. I just wanted a traditional Birkenstock with a trendy twist of the eva foam-like material.

Which also makes them waterproof.

They have a multitude of colours here, Macy’s has a bunch of colours too, but the sizes are selling out. This is a great colour and would be my second choice.

You always have to jump in the trends early, or they will be gone.

Socks and sandals, here we come.

Stay safe.
