Weekly Reads and Finds

A white background with 25 items that I have caught my attention this week.

I meant to post this on my usual Friday night, but you know when you start a task, and then it keeps rolling into another one? Then before you know it, you have lost a couple of hours.

Something smelled gross in the fridge, so I went to toss out whatever it was, which lead to going through everything, then taking everything out and washing down the whole fridge.

So that took over from posting.

This is good because it is a task that I have been trying to avoid, so I can now check it off my list.

I swear every single person in our home would rather pretend they don’t notice it than actually go in and clean anything out.

Anyway, the girls start back to school this week which means tonight we have to try to reset our holiday sleep schedules, which always sucks.

Then I need to print crap off and write crap down, so I don’t get lost with what needs to be done because I have been feeling extra scatterbrained lately.

And if I have to spend 3 hours trying to get the teen out of bed on Monday, I am going to lose my mind. I swear I spend at least 30% of my day trying to get people out of bed.

I need one of those loud air horn things, but it would probably just make them cry, my husband included.

But at this point, I no longer care as long as they get up.

Side note: You know that I really, really love my New Balance sneakers. I fell in love with the green, retro-looking ones I included today.

I quickly jumped over to the Canadian site to see if they had them, and they don’t, so now I am bummed. They are a fantastic colour combination. And the 237 model is very comfortable.

Also note: Madewell is having a Secret Stock Sale for items up to 70% off with the code CLASSIFIED

This cute little peplum top will flatter most body shapes and will be great for spring.

A cropped cardigan to go with high waist trousers.

A wardrobe staple blazer.

And some warm lined Chelsea boots, are all included in the sale.
