I am sitting here by the window listening to the wind howl and the balcony door vibrate because it has been windy as hell today. Everything is much more intense on this side of the building.

The difference between the two sides is so bizarre.

I was hoping that I would get to go to bed much earlier tonight because I would like to tuck myself in a read, but it seems I am still on my regular schedule. I’m not really sure how to change this bad habit.

Funny story…well I think it is funny.

Every night I go into the bedroom and turn on the bedside lamp and then get ready for bed.

When I climb into the bed getting ready to read I always glance out the window because we keep the curtains wide open until the sun comes up to let the air in.

Once the sun comes up I close them because it is extremely bright.

Anyway, I get into bed and I look out the window and I see the person in the next building in bed with a book too. It’s like this weird moment of eye contact where you aren’t sure what to do, but yet you do it again the next day.

We were in my bed and I was reading Merle a story and she was like, “I don’t know what to do. I can’t look away. Should I wave?”

I think that would cross over into weird territory 😉
