Once again my kid has the balcony door wide open and my hands are so cold that I feel like I am typing in slow motion. It’s freezing in here.

Yesterday we walked 7.5 km (total) to pick up a stupid package. This package was supposedly an attempted delivery, but when you are in perpetual lockdown you are always home to receive your packages, so they lied.

Anyway, we walked, got stuck in the rain on the way home, and today our feet are sore. We need to exercise more. I just wish there was more to see while walking.

I can walk around a museum or art gallery for hours without complaint, but I find outside boring. Especially when it goes through the suburbs.

I’ve also been staying up way too bloody late which is taking its toll both physically and mentally but I can’t seem to change it.

It feels like the whole house has lost all sense of what the appropriate time to go to bed is. I find that I am scrambling still at midnight trying to finish everything that should have been completed hours beforehand and I have no idea how to change it.

It’s crazy how this damn pandemic has affected such small parts of our lives in really strange ways. One year later and I am discovering these really weird shifts in things.

Or maybe I’m just really tired. At least the government has backpedalled on the whole “cops can stop anyone and ask for ID and question why you aren’t at home” bullshittery that they tried to pull late last week.

Stay safe.
