We found an apartment! It was the one that we went to see last weekend that is in our building. Tom dropped off the cheque on Friday and we get the keys on Monday.
It needs to be painted before we start bringing stuff down which will be accomplished I have no idea when, but we haven’t even given notice for this place yet.
Our rent is due on the 20th of every month, so we were too late to give notice for this month anyway.
We need to get boxes and they are somewhat hard to come by since you can’t just walk into a Home Depot and buy them because stores still aren’t open here.
It doesn’t have the new upgraded stainless steel appliances that 99% of the other new units we were looking at had, but I don’t need that as long as they work.
Maybe someday.
I need to order Roo a new bed from Ikea because hers is broken, and I should probably get new towels at the same time because ours are from when we first got married and are sad looking (and don’t match).
So it looks like I am going to have a lot to do over the next month or so. I hope it goes smoothly.

- And just because it made me laugh…a rubber chicken purse.
