SHOP THE POST
This past week was a 3 outfit kind of week because a lot went on and I just couldn’t be bothered getting dressed some days.
Tomorrow is our annual building smoke detector test, where they go into each unit to make sure that they are functioning properly.
That means I have a lot of cleaning to do before bed since they will be in our unit anywhere between 9am and 5pm.
I should have got my shit together and did it this morning but I am a procrastinator no matter how much I hate being one.
I’m not liking that they have to come in, but I am certain that they will be well masked.
I know it works properly though, because Tom sets it off every time he cooks anything.
I have this stupid laundry basket that is woven. Once upon a time, it was nice, but for some reason, my cat decided it was his new scratching post.
Now there are constantly shredded pieces of wood everywhere regardless of how much I vacuum. I need to pitch it and get something that is constructed with a different material.
It’s not like he doesn’t have a scratching post either, he’s just a little shit.
I can’t believe it is almost December.
I’m still trying to get through the last bit of my Christmas lists but it doesn’t help that I have had two packages get lost in the mail over the last couple of weeks.
The annoying part is a) the items from package 1 are completely sold out now so I can’t replace them, and b) I have a feeling that package two will end up showing up after I buy the replacements.
Online shopping is great when it works. I miss the option of stores though.
This week ultimately wasn’t productive, but I did dye my hair for the first time in forever, and found some drugstore brand purple shampoo and conditioner that actually works.
