Weekly Reads and Finds

I am pretty sure that someone in the condo across from ours has their Christmas tree up.

Yes, we spy.

Not with binoculars or anything. Just looking out the window. We happened to see it a couple of days ago.

I wonder if it is still up from last Christmas, or they put it up during lockdown to boost morale in the house.

Whatever the reasoning, I am jealous.

I’d love to have our tree up all year long. So would the girls.

Speaking of Christmas, have you bought any presents yet?

I figure that since things are taking so long to get here in the mail…especially from international destinations, that I would make sure to get it done early this year.

I bought this blanket, and this pillow for Roo because she is a horror movie lover.

I might get this one for Merle since she is a cat lover.

That’s about the only highlight of my week aside from it being my mom’s birthday.

Stay safe.

  1. I haven’t bought anything specifically for Xmas yet, but I’ve got several things for the kiddo for various gift giving occasions, so I probably won’t need to buy much for her. I’ve also got something for my SIL, I actually bought it for her birthday last month, but couldn’t find it. I wound up coming across it today so she can get it in December.

Unrelated to anything in your post, the kiddo is watching some animated Spiderman shorts and the one on now features Black Panther, even in cartoon form just seeing the character made me tear up a little today.

    • It’s so incredibly sad. I couldn’t believe it when I saw. I can’t believe he was fighting cancer while filming the movie. He was a remarkable person.
