SHOP THE POST

I know that I promised I wouldn’t bitch about the heat but yikes. It’s a doozy right now.

Wearing a facemask in this humidity almost makes me feel like passing out. Thank god for air conditioning.

Remember when I put those second-hand Jimmy Choo loafers on layaway at the beginning of quarantine because I was stressed and panic shopped?

I put another second-hand pair of shoes on layway :/ This time wasn’t stress shopping…I just really wanted them and used my upcoming birthday as an excuse.

If I had to describe myself only using a shoe, they would be the shoe I would use.

I will likely wear them without the ankle wraps most of the time. Although it is a fun option.

I just finished paying them off on Friday so they should arrive early this week depending on the mail.

I’m watching Merle play VR right now. She’s preparing meals for people’s orders and it’s pretty funny.

I keep thinking she is talking to me but she’s talking to her customers and getting mad every time I respond.

I’m pretty sure it would make me feel nauseous to try it, so I haven’t yet. My stomach doesn’t have a high tolerance for moving things.

It used to but I lost that ability over the last 10 or so years.

Quick question: I’ve got half a carton of peaches that need to be eaten (damn peaches turn fast).

Do you have any good and simple dessert recipes for them?

Even the cat has melted from the heat. He’s laying spread out on the floor in front of the front door because there is a nice cold breeze coming under it.

It’s a lot cooler in the communal hallway than in the actual condo because there are no windows to generate heat.

I wish I could leave the front door wide open.

Welcome Summer Solstice, but I prefer Winter Solstice.

Can I put the tree up yet 😉

Stay safe.

  1. Hy Sara, about your peachs, you can frozen them(littles cubes) and then whisk them with a bit of yogourth and you will have a fast healthy icecream😉

    • This is actually pretty perfect. My youngest is a HUGE yogurt lover. Thank you so much Ana 🙂
