Does being unproductive on the weekend count since weekends technically aren’t a thing right now? I don’t think I even bothered showering until around 3 yesterday afternoon.

I finally got a shipping update on a couple of items that I ordered from H&M about a month ago when they were having a sale. They should arrive this week hopefully.

It hit 20°C today for the first time since October, so I embraced it by opening all the windows.

I kind of hope it doesn’t stick because our building doesn’t switch over to the central air conditioning for several more weeks and it’s hot in here.

I still won’t be wearing shorts though 😉

I’m missing Ikea at the moment because I would like to find an inexpensive tv console that has an area where the cords get hidden in the back.

My cat eats cords, and the area I would like to move the tv to will leave the back exposed since I kind of want to use it as a room divider in the living room.

It’s only about 18ft by maybe 10 or 11ft in the main open area. All the other rooms branch off this main room, so this area is technically the living room and my “office”.

Which I put in quotes because in reality there is absolutely nothing office-like about it aside from a desk and computer. I get bombarded by noises on each side and it’s about 3ft from the bathroom :/

Good times.

I sometimes wonder how I actually get anything done at all. I guess I have become proficient at blocking things out. I mean, as much as you can block out you “mom” being called every 3 minutes.

I hope you guys are doing well. Are there any restrictions lifting where you are?

They are allowing seasonal places to open for curbside pick up starting tomorrow (I think it is tomorrow). Places like gardening supplies and plant nurseries, and more construction sites.

Stay safe.

  1. both my husband and i were unproductive way before this pandemic, and we didn’t want to rock the boat, so we continue to be unproductive on the weekends, no shame. we’re in north carolina, and our state has been relatively lax compared to others in terms of what’s on lockdown. our home improvement stores have stayed open, and i swear they’re busier with everyone trying to tackle their DIY projects. since the weather is starting to get nicer here, more people want to be out and about, so i think it’ll be harder to encourage people to stay home.

that sucks severus chews all the cords. i assume you’ve already gone through whatever amazon offers and he’s managed to destroy those as well? i was looking at getting a room divider but i know our cat would somehow knock it down and it would be destroyed. ah, cats.

    • Our home improvement stores are opening back up on Friday along with all the garden centres. I’m sure they will be crazy. I’m sure my husband will go though because he’s been bored out if his mind. I’ve got plenty to occupy me 🙄

As for Severus, he can be a little asshole. I literally have barricades built around things here to stop him. It’s may look like random piles of shit scattered around , but it all serves a purpose of thwarting him 😂
