SHOP THE POST

I’ve been sitting here all day wondering why I was freezing and have only now just realized it is because I turned the heat down before I went to bed and neglected to turn it back up.

I had a pretty good closet purge this weekend when I was moving shit around in there trying to make some storage room. There were a few things that I forgot that I had, which were stuffed way back that I pulled out and set aside for Poshmark.

Another handful of things that will be getting donated. Along with a bunch of pieces that Roo purged that she no longer wears/no longer fits her.

I let Merle pick through her stuff and see if she wanted any hand-me-downs since there were a couple of Doctor Who, Harry Potter and cat t-shirts. She also took the loungewear she purged. Saves me some money 😉

Too bad tomorrow is a holiday because there are now 4 large donation bags by the front door that will have to wait until next weekend to be dropped off. I should have got them out of the house today while it was forefront in my mind.

I was feeling a little spring wardrobe inspiration this week and picked up this t-shirt, and these trousers. I like the trousers because of the cuff, they look like they can be rolled up easily for summer which will work well on my short ass.

I’m picturing wearing it with both the pants cuffed, and the sleeves rolled up, with loafers, and a crossbody. Now all I need is the crossbody.

I’ll let you know if they work out. I have been having a hell of a time trying to find trousers that don’t make me look like a wanker.

Every pair I have bought I have returned so far because there is so much extra material in the crotch areas and they puff out. I think the t-shirt will be a winner though.

I wasted A LOT of time scrolling the internet for absolutely nothing today. Productivity was at a minimum but I did manage to get 5 loads of laundry done.

I also neglected to meal plan early enough to be able to place a grocery order for delivery tomorrow. I forgot that they book up really quickly on holiday weekends.

I’d say here is to a productive week but that would be hypocritical since I am off to such a shit start. I hope yours starts better 🙂

*One of my thrift finds last week was the above vest. It’s a little bigger than I wanted so I’ll probably keep my eye out for one that fits me better. I hear that vests are going to be big this season so I am ahead of the game 😉 I actually got a really neat, fitted leather vintage vest as well that I can’t wait to share.
