SHOP THE POST
So the inevitable happened and we got our first confirmed Coronavirus in Toronto. It was from a symptomatic person travelling back from China so now the whole plane can be at risk, plus whoever they came in contact with. Why do people do this? I’m not going to lie, I am pretty concerned about it.
I almost wanted to cancel us going to the vintage toy collector show today but realized that I can’t do that. We also have The Phantom of the Opera this week which I am also worried about. Sigh.
I remember how scary the SARS epidemic was like in Toronto and I know that they have learned from all their mistakes and are super prepared, but it still is anxiety-inducing.
Fun fact: My autocorrect always changes my name to SARS.
Now onto a lighter topic. Did I mention that I bought a mannequin this past week? I found one on Kijiji for $50, and she is almost 6ft of amazing golden woman (she’s painted gold). Now if I can figure out a proper white background to use with better lighting I will be all set for Poshmark.
Aside from the fact that I don’t really have room for a setup so I am going to have to push some things aside or do some serious rearranging. I’m thinking a computer desk, and shelf switch might do the trick…..I’m just not sure if the desk will fit in that spot (damn Tom’s Star Wars shelf).
Off to find the measuring tape.
