SHOP THE POST

We went to The Phantom of the Opera on Wednesday night and it was just as amazing as I remember from when I was a teenager.

Right at the beginning where the auctioneer says “gentlemen, a little illumination!” and then the song and lights start brought a huge smile to my face. Which carried on through the whole show.

That beginning startled Merle, but she got into it right away and loved it. She said that it was way better than going to the movie theatre and she would like to do it more often 😉 I’m on board with that.

They both loved it actually, but Roo is always quieter in her appreciation of things.

Now, all we need is for Mama Mia to come back because Roo has been a HUGE Abba fan since she was about 3-4. She has also watched the movie a million times.

I love being able to experience things like this with them. We couldn’t afford to do it when they were younger, so I am really enjoying being able to do it as they get older. I think they appreciate it more at these ages anyway.
