SHOP THE POST
If you enjoy thrift shopping you will be impressed with the day we had. People must be purging their homes in preparation for the holidays because the thrift stores today were loaded with the good stuff.
I posted a lot of them to my Instagram stories as they were found in the store.
Sometimes I included a poll if I wasn’t sure about buying a particular piece.
There were a neat pair of Sorel rain boots in a slim cowboy boot style. I know that cowboy boots are not everyone’s style, so these would only appeal to a certain group of people but they are really nice.
The toe is rounded so they aren’t straight-up cowboy boot style.
A pair of white leather high tops were found as well. I have a black leather pair and I find they work really well in this current chillier weather. The white pair is really nice.
Tom also a pair of Ray-bans that retail for $235. You can see that it was definitely a good thrifting day.
This has me seriously thinking about putting things up on to Poshmark. I haven’t started yet because I didn’t want to add another time-consuming task to my day.
Honestly, though, we have been finding so many good things in thrift stores lately, so it would probably be worth it.
More often than not they are not in my size which sucks, but I figured if I used Poshmark then I could offer them to someone that they would fit.
I always post to Instagram when I have a successful thrifting session and I always receive messages regarding how their thrift store never have anything like what I find which is also a motivating factor behind it.
We just got Poshmark in Canada, so I haven’t really been able to give it a test run yet to see if it is worth my while.
Do you find that you use Poshmark a lot?
This was my week of styling my new Free People boots as you can see. I did put a gel insert into them to make the adjustment from flats to a heeled boot easier.
All in all, they worked out well, and I am pleased with the purchase, They definitely have that 70s vibe I was looking for.
I have an Everlane promo to share with you if you have been thinking about adding cashmere to your wardrobe and want to save some money. For 36 hours they will be offering 9 cashmere styles for $20-$40 off.
It started tonight Nov 3 at midnight PST – until Tuesday, Nov 5 at noon PST both online and in-store. Limit five per style, and size per customer. Both the women’s and men’s cashmere have been reduced to $100. I’m actually tempted to get a men’s size in one of the styles because I like having an oversized fit option.
If you are looking for a nice, luxurious Christmas gift for someone this would do it. I have two crew neck sweaters and they are great. I would love to receive one of these as a gift.
