For the last week, it was predicted that we were going to have really, really crappy weather for Halloween. They don’t postpone Halloween here in inclement weather. You are expected to put on your weather gear and charge into the elements which most of us do.

It rained all day yesterday and I was really not looking forward to walking around in it but we got ready to go. Literally as soon as we got outside the rain stopped and the weather was perfect for a little over an hour until the wind started to seriously pick up.

It was enough time for us to make our rounds though. The girls bonused from the weather too because a lot of people ended up giving them double the amount of candy because there were fewer kids than usual.

Now on to Christmas. I am totally serious about that. I would put up the tree and Christmas decorations tomorrow if it wasn’t pushing it.

Weekly Reads (and maybe videos):

A Graphic Novel Adaptation of Anne Frank’s Diary.

A 700 video playlist of the early days of MTV. This is amazing and I have definitely added it to my Youtube favourites.

A World War I Doll Set 🙁

Social Media Has Nots Destroyed a Generation.

Ecological Grief.

This recipe is too late for Halloween but would also be perfect for Thanksgiving.

It’s So Much More Than Cooking.

Inside Claude Monet’s home.

Explore 1400 Paintings & Drawings by Vincent Van Gogh at the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Collection

Pixar Characters in Real Life Official Trailer.

And finally 50 Hit Songs From 1983 Remixed into a Mashup. I think this is the final one, and it is the best one yet.
