SHOP THE POST

Last night we went to check out the condo rentals that I was talking about last week. They are in the same building we are currently in, just the 15th and 31st floors.

We could literally wear our slippers or sock feet up to see them since both units were empty. The first one was a winner as soon as we walked in. We all kind of went “oooh” when we saw it.

While the space is only about 100-150 sq ft larger than our current place, it’s layout is so much better that it looks a lot more spacious. The main room that contains the kitchen (open space kitchen yay!), living room and dining area was much longer looking.

It’s probably the effect of having the open kitchen which makes everything much less crowded and the space much more usable.

I’m fairly certain that the ceilings are even taller which seems weird since its the same building. All of the kitchen cupboards are at least one shelf taller than our kitchen cupboards which touch the ceiling.

Even Tom would need a step stool to reach the top shelf (which he currently doesn’t here). The windows seem to make the room brighter, it’s the better side of the building for both views and sunlight.

There is even a little nook area (they call it a den, but lets be realistic and call it a nook) for Tom to keep all of his collections together in a nice tidy little area.

Two bathrooms too which was important this time around. Even the balcony is longer with more usable space. I really hope that our realtor can swing this for us.

On another topic I just noticed that in my outfits from Day 2, and 4 they are the same outfit base. I didn’t even realize until now. It just shows you what switching out and jacket and a change of footwear can do in making an outfit look completely different.

It’s so funny that I never noticed.

*These boots were gifted to me by Everlane. I have been searching for about 5 months for a pair of boots that have a high enough shaft that would allow me to transition my cropped jeans for fall/winter, but a short enough heel that I can walk comfortably. I was having no success in my search, as every pair I found had a very high stacked heel, and I just can’t realistically wear that.

These boots tick all of the proper boxes and I am very thankful to them for sending them to me.
